Seattle's iconic Bumbershoot music festival has secured new producers made up of local venue owners and art leaders.

The new producer for the art and music festival said it plans to turn Bumbershoot into a year-round brand with ongoing programs at Seattle Center.

Her glass pyrographs, which she makes by dragging molten pieces of glass across paper, looked delicate even through a screen. The way the paper traced the motion of the hot glass was a welcome respite from the images and websites that normally occupied my screen. Museum of Museums can fiiiiiiiinally open: The long-delayed Official Opening of the buzzy art space operated by Greg Lundgren on First Hill is here. MoM has finally gotten the go-ahead from the city to swing open their beautiful Nikita Ares-painted front door and bring in art-thirsty visitors (so long as they follow state-mandated COVID-19 safety protocols, of course).
