Owners of america put pressure on the nra. in the past the nra sometimes would be willing to make relatively small concessions to avoid the larger bigger pr problem that was coming out of some of these terribly tragic incidents. the nra is a much diminished version of its past self. they ve been going through all sorts of lawsuit, scandal after scandal, questions about whether their money is going. so i think the reason why if republicans vote for this and actually get something through it s going to actually be a real test of the on the ground power of groups like the nra and gun owners of america to then do things on the ground in elections for politicians. if they do this, they pass this legislation on the one hand and then those gun groups aren t able to kick them out of office or impose consequences, that i think is what people like david hogg and other activists are hoping can show politicians that they actually can if they want ....

Putin is a truck with ten forward gears and no reverse gear. he can t back out of this thing, so the danger deepens. the danger does deepen. i m curious, what is the impact of the morale for those generals who are around vladimir putin when they keep getting reports of generals getting killed on the front lines, colonels getting killed on the front line. it just drags on. well, i think the generals have lost control of this massive formation. this is bizarre behavior, abandoned vehicles, no vehicle track recovery units. very little effective use of air power in coordination with ground power. they re going back to artillery, pounding and encircling cities, trying some starve them out. so the generals are getting desperate. they re getting up to the front areas of the battle, but a lot are saying we don t know ....
