Clinton native Mickey Meyer had a bit of scheduling conflict Sunday. Meyer, president of California-based Group Nine Studios, needed to coach his son’s Little League baseball game at 4 p.m. The Academy Award broadcast started at 5 p.m. on the West Coast.  A film Meyer served as an executive producer on, “Two Distant Strangers,” was nominated for an Oscar.
