But the Small Business oriented Household Survey generated a huge gain of 638,000 jobs. And parttime workers fell 520,000. Both wages and hours worked went up. Now, follow this, over the past year, the number of unemployed has dropped by 2. 1 million while employment has risen by 1. 8 million. This is from the households survey.
