Haiti's Transitional Presidential Council faces major hurdles in installation process
Montana’s leaders, as well as other political factions, had consistently opposed any scenario in which Henry would be responsible for announcing the formation of the Transitional Presidential Council (TPC). Jacques Ted St-Dic, from the Montana faction, had cautioned that such an action could bring "disorder" to Haiti's political landscape. However, as tensions have escalated, these political groups, once intent on distancing themselves from the departing Haitian prime minister, have reversed their stance.
