NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM â GDP per capita has risen 13fold in Kazakhstan over the years of independence, First Kazakh President â Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev said during the 29th session of the Peopleâs Assembly of Kazakhstan, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Addressing the session, the First Kazakh President stated that the GDP per capita stands at around $10,000, rising 13fold since independence, adding that it is the common achievement.
He went on to say that the countryâs GDP has grown 10 times.

ISLAMABAD: President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Abdul Latif Afridi has termed the decision of the Supreme Court, accepting the review petition of Justice Qazi Faez Isa, as the news of the year for those defending the independence of judiciary.

DUBAI: Iran said on Tuesday it welcomes Iraqi mediation to help mend its ties with Gulf Arab states, following reports that Saudi and Iranian officials had held discussions in Iraq.
The remarks by the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad came a day after Iran’s foreign ministry said that Tehran always welcomed dialogue with its arch-rival Saudi Arabia, without confirming that talks had been held. Welcoming the Council of Common Interestâs (CCI) recent decision to hold a national census by the end of 2021, leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Monday said the next headcount would be conducted ahead of time and in accordance with modern requirements. Addressing a press conference at the partyâs headquarters in Bahadurabad, MQM-P leader and Senator Faisal Subzwari said his party was the first to raise its concerns over the census.
âIn fact, even before the census, the MQM-P had expressed reservations and approached the Supreme Court,â he said. He added that the MQM-P did not accept the results of the flawed census of 2017. âOur demand was to declare it flawed and announce a new census and therefore we welcome the announcement of a new census.â ....
