Detectives with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s office have charged a McKeesport man with home improvement fraud after investigating complaints from residents in Hampton and Bethel Park. Motorists who use Elfinwild Road in Shaler will have to use a detour Thursday. The road is closed between Willett and Laurel Hill roads, police said. There is a tree down on the road and police are unsure of when it will reopen to traffic. PennDOT has been notified.
