Why weren't Barbie's director and lead actress Kenough for Oscar nominations?
Barbie, the undisputed box-office leader for 2023, received eight Oscar nominations Tuesday but was passed over for best director as well as best lead actress. Ken, however, got a nod, in a move some are calling a little too on-the-nose.
