Delores V. Peterson, 88, of Harrisland/South Avis passed away Friday Feb. 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born Feb. 3, 1933 in South Avis a daughter of Charles B. and Dorothy Stabley Swinehart. She married Bernard Peterson on July 1, 1968; they shared 42 years together until he passed in September of 2010. She was an inspector for West Company in Jersey Shore for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors, flower gardening, her crossword puzzles and dogs. Her survivors include her sister Callie Mae Krupa and a longtime family friend Robert L. Rinker, along with several nieces and nephews. ...
