At Monday’s regular New Hanover County Board of Commissioners meeting, the county heard from Health and Human Services about a federal grant that will fund a new division focused on health equity.
Women’s Health Fair is taking place Nov. 13 in Dickinson. The event is targeting Hispanic women in the Dickinson community and will also have members from the Rwandan community present at the event. As a bit of background, the North Dakota Department of Health wanted a partner to help connect Hispanic women to health care providers and resources as there is a gap in services reaching them.
