In the mast hour, we received an update from cal fire, and Sonoma County officials. Again, they say the fire has tripled in size to more than 36,000 acres, and there is still zero containment at this hour. The cal fire said theyre hope of that the winds are dying down. Northwest of calistoga. People there were told to leave this morning. Cal fire told us late today that investigators have zeroed in now on a possible location where this fire started. Theyre actively investigating the 200 block of north fork Crystal Springs road. That is right off silverado trail. No other details besides that at this moment. We learned today that two firefighters in napa county were trapped by flames sunday night and had to deploy their fire shelter. Of the northern napa valley, not only to here in angwin, but to the towns of st. Helena, and calistoga, 1500 feet below. The fact is, this is a big fight, and this is a fight to the finish. Unfortunately nobody knows where the finish line is. The fight against the glass fires eastern flank took place uncomfortably close to angwin, population 3,400, already under mandatory evacuation. This is largely an intense and relentless aerial battle, putting aircraft including Air National Guard helicopters against the fire that could still make it way to angwin should continues make it possible.
