Middletown Sued By Developer Over Circus Liquors/Rt. 35 Property - Middletown, NJ - A new lawsuit was filed Aug. 17 over a long-battled-over Middletown piece of land:
“We must save our suburbs from this ill-conceived plan,” said Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joe Saladino.
Critics say the agenda is crystal clear. >> the real motive is to get the homeless out of disability. put them somewhere whether they want to go there or not. that's not the solution. we're not going to tolerate it. >> in his state of the city address the mayor proposed spending $75 million in government funds to kick start this housing mandate and the city council votes on the resolution tonight. if it passes other cities will chronic homeless problems like san francisco and venice beach will be watching to see if forcing homeless people to accept housing when it's offered makes a difference....
