Avalanche claims life of Clearwater doctor
The town of Clearwater is mourning the death of one of its doctors following an avalanche in the Trophy Mountains. Dr. Ifor Thomas, 48, died Wednesday. He, Robert Beaudry, 47, and Tony Lifely, 53, were skiing in the backcountry that morning when the avalanche swept them up.
