First Nation says salmon are essential to grizzly bears' survival
The First Nation has declared an Indigenous Protected and Conserved area in Knight Inlet to exert a stronger stewardship role in its traditional territory in order to protect starving grizzly bears, declining salmon populations and a unique coral reef.
