received hundreds of death threats when he ruled that a group of illegal immigrants could sue an arizona rancher for $32 million because he was making citizen arrests. that situation was so severe a u.s. marshal stepped in for round the clock protection for the judge a whole month. i spoke with a friend of judge roll's and it didn't affect his job but because judges are so important to our democracy. they tend to get a lot of attraction. they said that arizona is a mecca for prejudice and bigotry, judges have been attacked for decades with bullets and bombs. the reason that law enforcement experts say threats have skyrocketed recently is because people have so many different forums now to lash out. listen. >> we're seeing more and more cases where individuals are more
