To see the American Economy under default and with all the consequent impacts on the Global Economy and on the american middle class. In order to do that and was enormously damaging to consumer confidence. We were downgraded famously and it is a testament to the American People and the American Economy and the American Business and some of the success we have had working with the congress that we have been able to rebound and the economy continues to grow and create jobs but that was a selfinflicted wound and we cant have that nonsense anymore.
