All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor is expected to return to the Indianapolis Colts practice field Wednesday. Less than 24 hours after losing to the Rams in overtime, coach Shane Steichen told reporters the 2021 NFL rushing champ was about to be activated from the physically unable to perform list this week while painting a far different picture about Taylor and his relationship with the Colts than the one that emerged last summer. “He'll be out there with us Wednesday, had a great conversation with him,” Steichen said.

Having Anthony Richardson in the starting lineup was a welcome sight for the Indianapolis Colts. “I think with a young player, you're learning things and you're seeing new looks and different things,” Colts coach Shane Steichen said after Indy's 29-23 overtime loss to he Los Angeles Rams. Richardson is off to a better start than some expected.

High school players and coaches insist that the NFL’s current attitude towards running back is not a deterrent.

He's played 84.2% of snaps and had a 24.7% target share over that span, but it remains to be seen what his usage looks like when Zay Jones is healthy. A matchup with Atlanta isn't great, yet Kirk is playing a premium role right now. He's a solid WR2 and great WR3 in Week 4.
