Arkansas Democrat-Gazette “Where I’m Writing From” columnist Eli Cranor released his second novel last week — his violent and propulsive “Ozark Dogs” is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut novel, “Don’t Know Tough,” which won the Peter Lovesey First Crime Novel Contest and was named one of the “Best Books of the Year” by USA Today and one of the “Best Crime Novels” of 2022 by the New York Times.
As usual, the 2022 books selection is quite eclectic, and something for almost every adventurous reader made the list.
