Laura completed her masters and shes had a career in the field of public history. Her first job was at strike that ford hall, the birthplace of robert e. Lee. Initially she was a Deputy Director at the naval museum. Shes been there since 2010. She works as an educator there and does special events. Shes also worked at fort monroe museum.
