Unanimous and labor day it is. Official word tonight the new eastern span of the bay bridge will open right after labor day. Good evening. March september 3rd on calendar after decades of debate. Years of construction. Newer safer version of the bay bridge will be reality in just weeks. But to get the job done the entire bridge will close for 5 days. Officials want this to happen over holiday weekend.
