JEE Main 2021: NTA releases complete syllabus on jeemain.nta.nic.in – applications close tomorrow


Students who have registered for the examination are again advised to note that the syllabus has not been revised. The competitive examination syllabus remains the same this year. However, with the revised syllabus for CBSE and many state boards, NTA would this year instead provide choice to candidates.
As per the notice and Education Minister’s announcement, the syllabus that has been removed would be covered in the choice sections. For JEE Main 2021 examination, a 50 per cent choice would be provided in numerical section of the BE/ BTech paper. Students would have to attempt either 15 questions out of the 30 questions provided in each Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section. ....

As concerns of students and teachers over CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 rises, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ this week made several major announcements. Addressing a webinar with students and faculty of the Kendriya Vidyalaya across the country, the Education Minister addressed the queries of the students.
Pokhriyal asserted that the questions of the exams will be based on the reduced syllabus as per the 2020 curriculum that was announced keeping in mind the coronavirus outbreak. “The students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE board exams. The questions will only be asked from that portion,” he said.  ....

The syllabus for JEE Main and NEET 2021 will remain the same as the previous year, the Education Ministry said

New Delhi: The Ministry of Education on Tuesday announced that the syllabus of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET) would remain unchanged for 2021.
The syllabus for JEE Main 2021 will remain the same as the previous year. But students will be given a choice to answer 75 questions (25 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) out of 90 questions (30 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), said the Education Ministry. ....
