NEET-PG 2021 Latest News: The government has decided to utilise medical students as adequate human resources for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a high level Covid-19 review meeting today decided to allow deployment of medical interns in Covid management duties under the supervision of their faculty,  as part of the internship rotation. 
"The services of final year MBBS students can be utilised for providing services like tele-consultation and monitoring of mild Covid cases after due orientation by and under supervision of faculty," the government release mentioned. The following service of the MBBS students will  reduce the workload on existing doctors engaged in Covid duty, it added.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) this year. The examination for entrance to various undergraduate medical courses will be held on August 1 later this year.
"The NEET (UG), 2021, is going to be conducted by NTA for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses as per the relevant norms, guidelines and regulations notified by the regulatory bodies concerned," announced NTA, which comes under Ministry of Education.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the dates for the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) 2021 on Friday (March 12). The NEET 2021 exams will be held on August 1, 2021.
In the official NTA NEET notification says: “NEET (UG) 2021 will be conducted in 11 languages, including Hindi and English through Pen & Paper mode on 01 August 2021 (Sunday).” Further, NTA has clarified that the information brochure with complete details will be public soon. The notification says: “NEET 2021 information bulletin containing detailed information regarding the test, syllabus, eligibility criteria for age, reservation, categorization of seats, examination fee, cities of examination, State Code, etc. will be available shortly on the website ntaneet.nic.in, when the submission of the application form for NEET (UG) starts.”

NEET 2021 Date: Registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2021), the all India medical entrance exam, will begin soon. Though the National Testing Agency (NTA), who administers the exam has not announced NEET 2021 date yet, the Director General of the agency, Vineet Joshi, on March 10, confirmed to
NDTV that the date will be announced this week. The application forms, and information bulletin of NEET will be available on the official website, ntaneet.nic.in. Putting an end to speculations, Mr Joshi has also confirmed that NEET UG will not be held twice this year.
