Landfall didnt stop it. It has pretty much been stacked up and stationary on the carolina coast all day long today. Its moving southwest along the shoreline, but its only moving at a sluggish 3 miles an hour pace. Thats literally a human walking pace. Thats how slowly this thing is going. And today that very slowmoving storm has been busy soaking an already water logged area with up to two feet of rain. The result is predictably disastrous thus far.
