Bally's has a hit on its hands with 'Motown Forever' | Arts and Entertainment News

SCOTT CRONICK
When Producer Allen Valentine was originally putting together a concept for a Motown production show, his biggest issue was that he had too many songs that he wanted to include.
It turns out Valentine’s dilemma has proven a blessing as Motown Forever, the latest incarnation of Valentine’s stunning Motown tribute at Bally’s Atlantic City, digs deeper into the producer’s Motown music vault, offering audiences a fun, fresh show while holding onto the audience favorites that never grow tired.
One of the best parts of Motown Forever is that it’s the first time Bally’s has hosted live entertainment in 13 years. Yes, you read that right: 13 years! And the new owners — Bally’s Corporation, formerly Twin River Worldwide Holdings — is showing it is committed to turning the property around, meaning a complete experience that will include regular entertainment.

We need to discuss JLo sneaking 'Let's Get Loud' into Biden's inauguration

We need to discuss JLo sneaking Let s Get Loud into Biden s inauguration

Inauguration Day was obviously huge for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, but were you aware that Jennifer Lopez made history at the ceremony, too?
How? Well, folks. She got loud. And not just loud in volume, she got loud like it was 1999.
While performing a mashup of This Land Is Your Land and America the Beautiful, JLo decided to sneak in a snippet of her 1999 hit, Let s Get Loud from her debut studio album,
On the 6.
I can t imagine many people — aside from maybe A-Rod and those in the the inauguration loop — were expecting to hear an original JLo jam at the 46th presidential inauguration, but I recognized the hilarious transition immediately because the song triggered a chaotic memory of a childhood dance recital at which I performed a jazz routine to the very song.
