Broadband Regulation: Will Congress Neuter the Net?
Proposed network neutrality rules would impose comprehensive,unnecessary, and harmful mandates on broadband networks. These mandates, the most extensive regulation of the Internet everconsidered by Congress, would stymie the efficient use of scarcecapacity, discourage investment, and threaten the growth ofcompetition among broadband networks. Existing competition law ismore than sufficient to address any abuses that do occur.
