to focus on saving lives Gov. Greg Abbott seems to be guided by soon-to-be past president Donald Trump. He says, "There's been no government leader anywhere that has been able to figure out how COVID works." Really? Lots of government leaders have followed medical and scientific advice on ways to control the virus. So Abbott responds by saying, wear masks if you want to and continuing to emphasize that the vaccine is voluntary rather than stressing it is vital to get the vaccine if you want to protect yourself, your family and those you come in contact with. So now Abbott declares, "No more shutdowns. We need to focus on opening up businesses."
