Rancho feeding corporation recalled more than 8 Million Pounds of beef. At that time there were allegations that the plant had improperly processed cows that had eye cancer. According to the indictment released today, one of the owners ordered employees to carve usdacondemned stamps out of the cattles carcasses. The animals that failed inspection were then processed and distributed for human consumption. In addition the heads from cancereyed cows were chopped up, thrown away, and employees placed the heads from apparently healthy cows next to the cancer eye cow carcasses. The indictment says t...
