Mountains, turning friday into a partially gray day all around. Parents playing with their children at some south bay parks noticed the difference slowly as soon as they stepped out the door. Two men drowned and one was injured when their boat sank during a fishing trip at Topaz Lake south of Carson City on Saturday. The injured was admitted for hypothermia to Carson Valley Medical Center and later released, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and the Nevada Department of Wildlife.

UPDATE 5 PM: MINDEN — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has identified those involved involved in a fatal boating accident that happened Saturday at Topaz Lake.
