Hi, everyone. Im frank mallicoat. Happy friday 6 00. A little traffic, a little weather and we begin with liz wenger. How are we doing . It is getaway friday and we have better news now for highway 50. It has officially reopened this morning near Pollock Pines. It was closed completely shut down both directions near icehouse and sly park but they were able to reopen lanes even though some of the reporters say because of the fire and smoke it looks like thick fog if you are traveling. So use caution and they still may close lanes intermittently. So heads up if you are traveling and heading out ...
