SAN ANTONIO - It is touted as the oldest standing hotel West of the Mississippi and the finest. It was the place where Theodore Roosevelt gathered his Rough Riders in 1898, and former U. S. Presidents Ulysses S. Grant, William McKinley, William Howard Taft, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton all visited this historic hotel. And it is still one of the gems of San Antonio to this day.
