Acting Temple President, 72, Dies at Memorial Service

JoAnne A. Epps, 72, was on stage at a memorial event when the tragedy unfolded. Her cause of death remains unknown.

Epps, who assumed her role in April, became unwell at the memorial service and was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead around 3:15 pm.
