Man Who Held Women And Raped Them In His Home Dungeon, Denied Parole

Dannemora, N.Y. - John Jamelske, the man who kidnapped and imprisoned five women, holding them in a dungeon in his house has been denied parole.
Jamelske pleaded guilty to five counts of kidnapping in 2003 and was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison.
He admitted to raping the women often in a dungeon he built off his basement in the DeWitt home.
After 18 years he applied for parole but has been denied.
He is scheduled to reappear before the Board in December 2022.

John Jamelske, a DeWitt man who kidnapped and raped five women and girls and imprisoned them in a basement over the course of 15 years, was set to make his case for parole today after 17 years in prison, his lawyer said.
The state’s Board of Parole scheduled Jamelske to appear via video conference today from the Clinton Correctional Facility, his attorney J. Michael Forsyth said He also represented Jamelske at the time he pleaded guilty in 2003. ....
