Park rangers identify body found in the surf at Pismo Beach April 8, 2021 Park Rangers identified the man whose body was found in the surf at Pismo Beach State Park on Wednesday as John Peter Moore, 58, of Exeter. While the cause of death has not yet been determined, officials do not suspect foul play. Shortly before 3:30 a.m., a couple from Maricopa found the body while walking on the beach. Parks officials identify man found dead in ocean off Pismo Beach KSBY and last updated 2021-04-08 19:57:45-04 State Parks has identified the person whose body was found floating in the water off Pismo State Beach on Wednesday as John Peter Moore, 58, of Exeter. Parks officials say the cause of death is unknown at this time but foul play is not suspected.
