Coast band in line for major music award

To-date they've released a couple of EPs and some stand-alone singles, but that could soon change, having spent the best part of the past year writing songs in lieu of being able to perform.
Drummer Kyle Shipton, 25, grew up on the Coast, while Ms Jenkins and her partner, guitarist Daniel Parkinson, 34, both moved to the region from New South Wales after they'd finished their schooling.
Ms Jenkins said the band had gathered momentum at the start of last year, having released a song, played a support gig and had a tour booked before the pandemic dashed those plans.

Sydney trio STUMPS have revealed their debut album, 
All Our Friends, a genre-bending journey exploring heartbreak, not fitting in, depression and the general pressures of being alive today. While the content matter may seem a little bleak, the danceable melodies inspired by Brit-pop, late ’90s and early ’00s alt-rock and indie-pop makes for existentialism you can dance to – or contemplative disco, if you will.
