Florida, john miller. and mayor, thanks for being with us. we spoke with our reporter, jacob sob rjake soboroff. you have 21,000 people without power in your neck of the woods. are you ready to handle more outages? yeah, hallie, we re doing the best we can. power outages right now are the least of our worries. we re in a unique position. my city is located on amelia island which is a barrier island connected by the main land by two small bridges which both have been shut down for any traffic at this time. our concern obviously is to know who chose not to follow the mandatory evacuations. they re beyond the time to try to get off and the shelter in place phase and we re hoping for the best. how many people are left, do you think, that haven t followed the warning to get out? we re not sure. that is a hard number to tell. a lot of people are not answering the call. ....
