Every place you went to you were in fear of being arrested for doing things like sleeping. Reporter they are here at this particular building for a reason. With the city closing the nearby park this has now become their home for fear of ending up behind bars anywhere else. With the city taking the action of closing city island park and manatee island park and closing the bath rooms and taking up the park benches it left precious little space for the homeless to operate in. Reporter today buses were brought in by the salvation arm to worked with the city of Daytona Beach to transport the homeless to a 46bed temporary shelter but only a few got on with the majority choosing to stay.
