  Police recorded a surge in anti-Semitic incidents in Germany last year. But contrary to Israel lobby efforts to blame Muslims, leftists and the Palestine solidarity movement, the phenomenon stems almost exclusively from the right. In 2020, German police logged 2,275 reports of anti-Semitic incidents, more than any year since 2001, the newspaper Der Tagesspiegelreported last week. This included 55 violent crimes.
