In her latest statement, Kim Yo Jong blamed the United States for “escalating the war” by sending tanks to Ukraine.  

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) said Sunday that it sought to bolster military ties with South Korea in the wake of global security threats.

Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary-general of NATO, has called for South Korea to increase their military assistance for Ukraine, mentioning that other states have shifted their positions regarding exporting arms to countries embroiled in conflict since the Russian invasion.

Denial comes after the US accused North Korea of supplying rockets and missiles to the Russian private military company.

The West has often raised concerns about North Korea's nuclear weapons programme and its powerful missile tests and in the latest remarks, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has called it "reckless".  NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin on Sunday (January 29) that they are concerned about North Korea's missile tests.  As quoted by news agencies, Stoltenberg said, "We are of course concerned about the reckless missile tests and the nuclear programmes of North Korea."
