Contra costa county hazmat crews and the walmart creek bomb squad were called in. They say there was a heavy chemical smell in the air. They evacuated 50 or 60 People Living nearby including the mans wife and two children. We evacuated the whole block. This area, we have a lot of apartment complexes, a lot of families, a lot of children. We want to make sure we took the right steps to get all these people out of the area just in case something should happen. Police say the man did comply with orders to come out of the house.
