Cork Hill Road speed limit was lowered from 35 to 25 mph. The borough wants the county to do the same for Franklin Avenue and North Church Street.
"This (ordinance) is to ban all shapes and sizes of cannabis business," the attorney told the council. Ursini also said "on the flip side, we can approve something in the future if a proposal comes before the council. He also noted that any kind of marijuana manufacturing/growing business would still have to go before the planning board for its approval, just as any other business needs that board's approval. The introduction was approved by a 5-1 vote with Councilman Joseph Limon saying allowing cannabis businesses into town "will bring a form of income. I don't want to limit ourselves."
