Our 5 oclock numbers showing we dipped to the 30s once again this morning in some of the suburbs like quakertown and pottstown 39 degrees. 40 in martins creek, 41 fleetwood, 40 degrees in coatesville, 39 in oxford, 40 kennett square, 45 in chester, 50 in center city so a cool start to the day maybe not quite as cool as yesterday morning. 44 in browns mills, 45 in cinnaminson, 47 this morning in dover, delaware. We have more clouds today than we did yesterday. Satellite6 and action radar showing a batch of clouds have moved out. We can see a few more clouds coming from the east and west as well. Well see a mix of clouds and sun but its a dry day. Its going to feel good this afternoon, temperatures around average today, a high of 68 degrees. By 7 00 a. M. , its 48. By 10 00 a. M. , 53. In smyrna delaware an accident happened just before 4 oclock this morning involving two tractortrailers, one of which was carrying chickens. That truck flipped over. The chickens went flying out. Theyre all over the roadway. Apparently it smells awful and the southbound lanes of highway one are still closed because of this colossal mess. Yeah, weve got a concern for this morning. I want to get right to storm tracker6 live 3d. Were expecting a few showers this afternoon but a few early showers have broke out. We can see that now in central pennsylvania. The problem is you see the area of blue, theyre breaking outta time where we have temperatures below freezing. As we go in closer with storm tracker6 live double scan, this is happening out near harrisburg and gettysburg. Still not quite in our region. We had a little bit of drizzle earlier near reading. That has dissipated. What you see near trenton is ground clutter. The only precipitation is still out near harrisburg but the National Weather service has issued a freezing rain advisory for the northwest suburbs because of this light drizzle creating icy roads. You can expect that at any point. This is carbon, monroe, berks, lehigh and northampton counties until 10 oclock this morning. And that would be a big concern. We already have areas of black ice.
