The uk Prime Minister used his interview with the bbc earlier today, to suggest that the nhs is broken ahead of a report on the state of the Health Service in england due later this week. In particular its expected to highlight severe problems for children and young people getting access to care. Our health editor, hugh pym, reports. The medical Expert Lord Darzi was asked to carry out a rapid review of the state of the nhs in england. Now, the last of that weather system with cloud, a bit of patchy rain pulls away from east anglia, and the south east of england, as we go through the evening. The heavy rain in northern scotland easing to showers, but quite a lot of clear weather around overnight, and temperatures dipping away quite widely into single figures, as we start the day tomorrow and as we start september. Showers tomorrow from the word go in a northern and western scotland. But fine, sunny weather across many other parts of the uk, but the showers will move further south and east during the day. Some of them likely to be heavy and possibly thundery, whereas much of south wales and southern england will avoid the showers and stay dry.
