in a couple of minutes. some breaking news out of europe this morning. terrorists attacked a gas factory in southeastern france killing one person injuring some others. investigators say the men crashed into the entrance of a factory and hit gas canisters that caused an explosion there. one attacker was arrested. no word on the other. a decapitated body and banners with arabic inscriptions were found near the factory entrance. more decisions from the supreme court. they may rule today on same-sex marriage and lethal injections. mark albert reports. reporter: the nine supreme court justices may return to their marble courtroom this morning to make momentous decisions including whether there is a constitutional right to same-sex marriage nationwide. also still to be decided, cases on lethal injection, pollution limits, and longer prison terms for repeat offenders. whether states can prohibit same-sex marriage like 13 states currently do. the court could declare state marriage bans unconstitutional meaning all states will perform and recognize same-sex marriage. another option, leaving some bans in place but forcing all states to recognize marriages performed in other states. however the decision comes down on the marriage issue, one thing is undeniable. there has been this incredible shift yes! in attitudes across the country. yes! you know, when i became president, same-sex marriage was legal in two states. yeah. today it s legal in 37 states. whoo!
