Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc., Taco Cabana's parent company, announced on July 1 that it has inked a deal to sell the famed taco chain for $85 million. That's enough cash to buy 42,500,000 strawberry margaritas. Taco Cabana's new owners, YTC Enterprises, LLC, is an affiliate of Yadav Enterprises, Inc., which operates nearly 400 eateries in California, Texas, and 16 other states. YTC Enterprises specializes in "fast casual/quick service restaurants," such a Jack in the Box and TGIFriday's. Taco Cabana, (multiple locations), will be offering $2 off any shareable (Kickin' Grande Nachos, Kickin' Potato Skins and the Trio Sampler) all day long.
