For weeks ahead of the new year, animal shelters around Utah and the nation offered reduced adoption fees, fostering perks, and more to try to get some of their shelter animals into new homes.
The new law, which goes into effect May 4, clarifies that motor vehicles include off-highway vehicles in addition to cars, trucks and motorcycles. In essence, it’s illegal to drive any vehicle that has a motor on an exposed lakebed or navigable river.
