I-83 crash: York Township man livestreaming wrecks, chain-reaction follows
State police have released more details about two Interstate 83 crashes on Sunday that claimed the life of Patrick E. Clafferty, who was livestreaming his motorcycle ride when he wrecked. Clafferty, 26, of York Township died at the scene. The two crashes happened after 4 p.m. on I-83 North near the Leader Heights interchange (Exit 14). State police say Clafferty was accelerating to a high rate of speed in the passing lane when his handle bars started to wobble.
