A $35.5 million state grant will help the University of Arizona expand a research center advancing semiconductor and related manufacturing technology.
The Arizona Commerce Authority announced an expansion of the University of Arizona’s Micro/Nano Fabrication Center (MNFC).
The funding from the Arizona Commerce Authority includes workforce development to boost the ability to produce more computer chips domestically.
