After Moon, Next Stop Sun: The red-letter day in the annals of Indian history is the collective effort of ISRO scientists led by its chairman S Somanath. India began its ambitious Chandrayaan-3 mission on July 14 from its spaceport in Sriharikota of Andhra Pradesh to explore the South Polar region with a rover inserted inside the Chandrayaan-3 Lander Module (LM).
The HAL congratulated the ISRO for the significant feat of making India the first nation to successfully land on South pole of the Moon.

India successfully landed its Moon mission Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar south pole, making it the fourth country to do so. The mission aims to demonstrate safe and soft-landing, conduct scientific experiments, and explore the Moon's surface. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the achievement and encouraged further exploration.
