On Jan. 1st. Wayne County responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident. 17-year-old Parker McGill of Fairfield was traveling on CR1035N when for unknown reasons he left the roadway striking a utility pole, and then a residence. Upon a search of the vehicle cannabis was found in the trunk. McGill and his three passengers refused medical treatment at the scene. McGill was cited for Failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, and Possession of Cannabis. 27 year old Caleb Walters of Simms, was arrested by Wayne County Sheriffs on a charge of Battery.
