The Louisiana Association of Broadcasters honored Lee Kleinpeter during its 2024 Prestige Awards ceremony, a little over a year after he passed away at age 73.

Our colleague and friend Lee Kleinpeter has left the building. He was 73 years old when he suddenly passed away on Sunday, January 8. Until very recently, he routinely visited the station to produce music programs that helped define the identity of this station.
